On Wednesday 4th of July 2007 a contract has been signed between the City Council of Noordwijk and BAM Utiliteitsbouw for the realization of the new building for AOES. BAM Utiliteitsbouw is the first to develop an office building on the Space Business Park in Noordwijk. According to the planning AOES will move to the new building at the end of August 2008.

The agreement has been signed by the city councillor Mr. Leendert de Lange and the Director of BAM utiliteitsbouw Mr. T.M. Krouwels. Mr. D.J. Smit and Mr. S. van Gemert were present at the City Council.
The building for AOES is around 2600 square meters. Also 54 parking spaces will be placed. The City Council of Noordwijk hopes that after AOES more high value companies like AOES will situate on the area of the Zwarte weg.

The establishment of AOES gives an important impulse to the future developments of the Space Business Park, said the city councillor Mr. De Lange. The Space Business Park is situated next to Estec in Noordwijk. Estec is the most important part of ESA, the European Space Agency. The goal of the Space Business Park and the City Council of Noordwijk is to create a cluster of Space related companies in one area. There are about 10 hectares available for private companies and 5 hectares for the expanding of Estec. The building site will shortly be ready for construction. With a big amount of parties there are concrete negotiations about establishment on the area. For several of these companies sketches of buildings have been made. The first impression of this is, that the aimed dignity of the Space Business Park also seems to be achieved, said the City Council of Noordwijk.
