The Dutch business expanded significantly during the 1990s when specialist engineering skills were required for structures, mechanisms, thermal equipment, CFD, CAE/PLM and IT systems. In 2000, aircraft engineering and Medialab – Technical Visual Communication were added to the AOES service portfolio. Today, space accounts for 75 per cent of AOES’ business portfolio. The firm’s key customers are Airbus, BMW, EADS, ESA and Hyundai. The company has 95 employees, spanning more than 15 different nationalities, and its offices are located in The Netherlands and in Germany.
